I adore "The Time Garden, A magical journey and coloring book" by Daria Song. I never knew coloring could be so fun. This coloring book for adults was beautiful, relaxing and simply a joy to use. This book brought be back to good times as a child picking just the right color for just the right spot. As an adult it took me away to a calm and relaxing place where I really enjoyed going. Daria Song starts this coloring book with a short written story and continues throughout most of the book with coloring pictures. Near the end of the book she again adds some written words to direct you in the story line. Without giving too much away, the story is about an antique cuckoo clock, a little girl and a fairy. I couldn't decide if I should start coloring at the first page or skip around. The pages are full of variety from simple repetitive objects to detailed drawings. I have thoroughly enjoyed this book and can't wait for a sequel. The Time Garden has been added to my Christmas gift list for multiple friends and family members.
